Description We are seeking a web designer or developer to create dynamic websites and applications. The ideal candidate will have the skills to undertake the technical design and development of a project with aspects of multimedia, social networking, and e-commerce. The ideal candidate needs to be able to roll out projects in a timely fashion and also be able to "look under the hood" and fix layout glitches and errors across the major web browsers: IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Safari. While most editors and developers do “close enough” that is not acceptable here at G2, every pixel counts and your work must adhere to high standards of accuracy and compatibility.
Responsibilities
Participate in the overall product development lifecycle
Design, implement, document, test, and operate web-based applications
Customize and implement hand coded HTML/CSS web forms
Assist in design of corporate web sites
Position Requirements General Qualifications
Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Project management experience.
Proven ability to resolve advanced technical issues.
Competency in search engine optimization, Web 3C standards and Web analytics.
