Description
We are currently seeking a results-oriented IT Solutions Sales Representative to develop and manage new customer base in the Boston area. The position requires prior track record of successful sales experience preferably in the IT services industry. This person will develop and grow his/her own client base by selling our IT Managed Services, Contract Staffing and Virtualization Project related services. Responsibilities include cold calling/prospecting, aggressively pursuing and closing new business.

The ideal candidate is creative and an outside of the box thinker that has a passion for technology, music and the arts as well as an unstoppable motivation to sell and a strong commitment to succeed.

This person will work directly with the company President as well as senior staff members. You will need to take direction from others in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment and you will be expected to take the initiative to execute delegated tasks independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities
Successful candidates MUST be capable of managing the entire sales and account management process including, but not limited to, the following:

• Working with G2 leadership to define a cohesive Sales routine
• Create a Sales Strategy for the Boston SMB Market
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries, qualify and develop prospects into qualified leads
• Make high volume cold calls to SMB in Boston
• Create reports detailing calls made, emails sent, prospect Lists, follow Up Lists
• Maintaining a follow-up cycle and live contact at least one time per month until close of sale.

Position Requirements General Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of successful IT solutions sales experience (managed services sales experience a major plus).
• Excellent communication skills, including outstanding phone presence, and ability to project a professional image on the phone and via email
• Working effectively under very broad direction with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
• Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Full Understanding of Office Applications
• Outstanding work ethic and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Passion for technology, strong appreciation for art, music and science
• Willingness to participate in after hours events and company outings
