In our modern developed society a building's environmental systems (HVAC), lighting systems, and IT computer systems consume tremendous amounts of energy every day.

In the United States buildings currently consume:

Through our building commissioning, energy engineering, optimization, controls verification and other high performance practices we provide comprehensive, integrated building consulting services that are eligible for funding provided in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act via Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG).

Our Building Audit methodology:

• Step 1- Benchmark the current energy usage of a building's electrical, mechanical, and environmental (HVAC) systems via audit or "walkthrough."
• Step 2- Identify low cost / no cost opportunities for greatest return on investment.
• Step 3- Propose solutions that address inefficiencies and optimization / improvement opportunities related to lighting controls, environmental, HVAC, and IT systems.
• Step 4- Propose solutions to replace, upgrade, or retrofit inefficient and out of date lighting, environmental, HVAC, and IT systems that cannot simply be optimized.
• Step 5- Development sustainable and persistent energy efficiency and conservation programs including operator training for ongoing energy management opportunities.
• Step 6- Develop a long term strategy to introduce renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, fuel cell, biomass.

• Follow the guidelines and principles of the LEED Green Building Rating System.
• Develop long term energy efficiency and conservation strategies.
• Facilitate the reduction and capture of methane and greenhouse gasses.
• Develop plans that benchmark current energy performance and set aggressive conservation goals.
